Weight Benches

Look for a bench that fits your size and can be adjusted for comfort. Here are some other factors to consider:

Weight: Choose a bench according to the weight you want to lift. If you want to bench press 300kg, make sure the bench can handle it.

Uprights: Uprights are the two supports on a weight lifting bench that hold the weight bar. Make sure that you buy a bench with uprights that fit your bar. In general, wider uprights can handle more weight.

Incline: Some benches can adjust to create an incline or decline. This is a useful feature if you want to do abdominal exercises on your bench.

Arm and leg attachments: Useful for working on your arms and legs.

Along with free weights, the weight bench is a piece versatile fitness equipment which offers a strong and stable platform for toning, shaping, sculpting and building your muscles.

When choosing from our extensive range of weight benches, it is important to match the product the training program to which you aspire. For example, our basic range of weight benches will add a greater degree of variety to your training routine if you already have a good set of free weights, or where space is an issue. Different Types of Weight Bench

Smaller weight benches have 2 inch heavy steel tubing and 2 foot wide crutches. This type of weight bench would be good for use with a weight set from 110 to 165 pounds.

A medium sized weight bench, with 2 1/2 inch heavy steel tubing and approx. 3 foot wide could be used with a weight set going up to 310 pounds.

Large (or Olympic) sized weight benches can have upto 3 inch heavy steel tubing with 3 ft 8 inch wide crutches that allow a wider than normal grip on a 7 foot bar.

Weight benches make it possible to develop a comprehensive power training program to achieve optimal results.
